The ADEPR Church has issued new regulations governing gospel artists, choirs, and worship teams, including a new principle stating that no one under the age of 18 is allowed to produce music individually.

These new regulations, released on November 17, 2025, clearly outline how artists and singers within ADEPR are expected to conduct themselves, especially regarding behavior, dressing, and how they present their ministry. The Church states that an artist under 18 is not permitted to publish their works or use them for evangelism unless they have been granted permission by Church leadership and have reached the required age.

In these regulations, ADEPR reminds that every artist or singer must uphold strong Christian values, including displaying the fruits of the Holy Spirit, avoiding bad habits, and living a righteous daily life. All singers are also required to have a Bible and a hymnbook and to avoid dressing in ways that dishonor the ministry they perform.

Regarding invitations to choirs or worship teams, ADEPR has established clear procedures depending on where the invited group is based:

  • If it is within the same Parish, Region, or Church level, written communication must be made between the relevant authorities.

  • If the invitation comes from another religious organization or another country, it must be submitted through the Senior Pastor, with the responsible Region being informed.

The Church stressed that these regulations apply not only to choirs and worship teams but also to individual gospel artists within ADEPR. Anyone who violates them may face disciplinary measures, which could include a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension, depending on the severity of the violation.

The regulations were signed by Rev. Isaïe NDAYIZEYE, the Senior Pastor of ADEPR in Rwanda.
