Rwandan artist Munyurwa Regius, popularly known as Dj Regius, has released a new single titled “Inzanga”, drawing inspiration from his recent performance alongside Producer Element at a major concert in Lille, France.

Dj Regius, who began his music career in May 2025, has steadily built his presence with three singles“Mama”, “Amashimwe”, and “Inzanga” gaining recognition among Rwandan music fans both at home and abroad.

The video for “Inzanga” was shot in Lille following the December 6, 2025 concert where Dj Regius shared the stage with Producer Element. The song was produced by Jay P, a Belgian-based music producer, while the video was filmed and directed by Bombastic Studio.

The music video features rising model Stasha, who collaborates with several fashion houses in France, giving the video an international and stylish aesthetic that complements the song’s contemporary theme.

In “Inzanga”, Dj Regius delivers a message aimed at young men who delay taking responsibility in relationships, despite having the means to build a family. Speaking to InyaRwanda, he explained: “This song is a reminder to young men who delay proposing or committing. Many say they are waiting for the person God has destined for them, but opportunities to love are already around them.”

He added: “Young women show love in subtle ways. If a man hesitates too long, he may lose the person he loves or find she has moved on and is raising someone else’s child.”

The Lille concert also featured other Rwandan artists, including Kavange, known for hits such as “Merci Mama”. Dj Regius expressed his excitement about the warm reception he received at the show: “This was my first time performing at an Element concert in Lille. I was surprised and delighted by the support I received, especially because of my first single, ‘Single Mama’.”

Although Dj Regius resides in Nantes, the enthusiastic response in Lille left him optimistic about his music career and its potential international reach: “It was an incredible feeling to see such love from the crowd in a city I don’t live in. It makes me even more hopeful for the future of my music.”

With the release of “Inzanga” and his performance at a major European concert, Dj Regius continues to establish himself as a rising figure in Rwandan music, signaling a promising trajectory toward international recognition.
