While many artists celebrate career milestones with grand concerts in Kigali or other major cities, Senderi International Hit chose a different path. For his 20th anniversary in music, he is returning to the very communities that raised him, bringing entertainment to fans across the country.

Since embarking on this nationwide tour, Senderi has made his mission clear: this celebration is not just about his success. It is about sharing joy with supporters who have stood by him from the beginning.

On Friday, October 24, 2025, the hitmaker behind popular tracks such as Nzabivuga, Muri Hehe, Twaribohoye and Nta Cash, performed in Rukomo, Nyagatare District, drawing a massive turnout.
The following day, Saturday October 25, he lit up Ngarama in Gatsibo District. The show was packed with laughter, high energy performances and heartfelt messages about patriotism and unity.

This 20th anniversary tour will take Senderi to 12 districts across Rwanda. Once complete, he will become the first Rwandan artist to perform in all 30 districts of the country, a landmark achievement for the local music industry. “I wanted to go back to where it all started,” he told InyaRwanda. “It didn’t have to be Kigali alone. Rwandans everywhere contributed to who I am today, and I want them all to feel part of this celebration.”

He adds that the tour is both a spiritual and personal journey. “It is my way of thanking God and every Rwandan who gave me the space to use my talent.”

Having already performed in 18 districts, Senderi still has 10 to go. The grand finale is expected to take place in Kigali later this year, featuring guest artists from different generations.

During his two decades in music, Senderi has distinguished himself with uplifting songs rooted in Rwandan culture. His Afrobeat and traditional-inspired rhythms often carry strong social, patriotic or inspirational themes. “When I sing, I don’t only want people to dance,” he explains. “I want them to leave with something valuable. If it is laughter, they forget their stress. If it is a message, they learn from it.”

As the countdown to the final shows continues, Senderi promises to keep representing Rwanda proudly.
“My fans are my family. I will always honor them and continue singing about Rwanda and its people.”

In an era where many musicians focus solely on digital streams and viral hits, Senderi’s journey is a heartfelt reminder that true artistry grows from community and remains rooted in the people who believe in it.
