Davido Set to Return to Kigali for a Spectacular Concert in December 2025
Afrobeats superstar Davido is gearing up for a grand return to Kigali, Rwanda, this December as part of his ongoing “5Ive World Tour”, a global concert series promoting his latest studio album, 5Ive.
According to reliable sources, the multi-award-winning Nigerian artist will perform live at BK Arena on December 5, 2025, in what is expected to be one of the most highly anticipated concerts of the year. The event is being organized by Intore Entertainment, a leading Rwandan event management company led by Bruce Intore, known for staging some of the biggest music events in the country.
Before the main concert, fans will get a sneak peek of Davido’s new sound during an exclusive “Listening Party” scheduled for October 17, 2025, at La Noche Kigali. The private event, which will run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, will be strictly by invitation.
Davido’s Kigali concert marks another stop on his 5Ive world tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles, USA, on July 11, 2025. Since then, the global hitmaker has performed in several major cities across North America and Europe, and he is expected to head to Rwanda following his Atlanta show slated for November 20, 2025.
Released on April 18, 2025, the 5Ive album features a stellar lineup of collaborations, including Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Shensea, TayC, and Dadju, among others. This fifth studio project follows his previous critically acclaimed albums Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), and Timeless (2023).
This will be Davido’s fourth performance in Rwanda, marking yet another chapter in his strong connection with Rwandan fans. He first performed in Kigali in 2014 during the country’s 20th Liberation Anniversary celebrations, followed by his 30 Billion Africa Tour concert in 2018, where he shared the stage with Rwandan stars Buravan, Charly & Nina, and Riderman.
His most recent performance was in August 2023 at the Giants of Africa Festival, a week-long youth and sports celebration held at BK Arena.
Davido’s upcoming show is expected to draw thousands of music lovers from Rwanda and neighboring countries, promising an electrifying night filled with hits like Unavailable, Feel, and Fall. With his unmatched energy, chart-topping records, and deep fan base in Rwanda, December 5 is set to be a night Kigali won’t forget.
