Gen-Z Comedy: Coach Gael Set to Inspire Youth on Business and Talent Development
Coach Gael, a music and business investor best known as the founder of the artist management label 1:55 AM, has been announced as one of the special guests in the “Meet Me Tonight” session at the upcoming Gen-Z Comedy show scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025.
This will be the first time the talent manager and entertainment entrepreneur participates in this segment, which is dedicated to mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and career conversations with young people.
According to Fally Merci, the organizer of Gen-Z Comedy, Coach Gael was invited because of his growing influence in shaping the careers of emerging artists and his involvement in various business ventures. “He will teach us about business, talk to the youth about entrepreneurship, and share insights on nurturing young talent. It’s a big opportunity for young people to learn from someone who has built a strong reputation in entertainment,” Fally Merci told InyaRwanda.
Over the past three years, Coach Gael has played a notable role in the careers of several artists, including Bruce Melodie, Element, Ross Kana, and Kenny Sol, supporting them in production, branding, and business development.

The upcoming show will also feature performances from popular comedians such as Mugisha & Rusine, Umushumba, Muhinde, Pilate, MC Kandii & Musa, Fally Merci, and Rumi.
In just three years, Gen-Z Comedy has redefined Rwanda’s comedy scene, becoming a key platform for emerging comedians and artists to showcase their talent. Many of today’s well-known comedians including Rusine, Michael Sengazi, Muhinde, Kadudu, Umushumba, Pilate, and Mitsi have grown their audiences through this stage.
