For DJ Khaled, fatherhood is more than a title  it’s a dream realized. “I always wanted to be a dad,” he once told Parents magazine. “It’s the most beautiful feeling in the world  something words can’t even describe.” He often says that his sons, along with Nicole, are the reason behind his happiness, purpose, and success.

The music mogul frequently shares precious family moments with fans on social media  from beach days and farm trips to red-carpet events. At the 2023 Grammy Awards, the family of four appeared in matching designer outfits, radiating unity and joy. Khaled described being a father as “the truest form of love.”

He often gets emotional when speaking about his children:

“It’s so beautiful to teach your kids greatness  they’re born great, but when you give them love and knowledge, that’s when magic happens. I cry tears of joy every day just seeing them.”

 Meet Asahd  “The Lion”

Born October 23, 2016, Asahd Tuck Khaled’s name fittingly means “lion” in Arabic. His birth was famously documented live on Snapchat, marking the start of Khaled’s proudest chapter.

From an early age, Asahd showed star potential. At just four months old, he received a custom baby piano from Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz. By age two, he was already saying his dad’s signature phrase: “We the best!”

But Asahd isn’t just a celebrity kid  he’s also credited as an executive producer on several of DJ Khaled’s albums. Beyond music, he enjoys sports, fashion, and time with his little brother. His parents describe him as a “loving big brother” who always checks on Aalam and showers him with affection.

Now nine years old, Asahd has his own Instagram account with over 1.5 million followers, showcasing his adventures, school milestones, and love for sneakers. Khaled calls their daily golf cart rides their “man-to-man time.”

 Meet Aalam  “The World”

DJ Khaled’s second son, Aalam, was born January 20, 2020. Khaled announced his arrival during the Grammy Awards, proudly explaining that Aalam means “the world” in Arabic — a perfect reflection of how much he means to the family.

From the start, Aalam has been full of energy and curiosity. He adores his big brother and tries to copy everything he does. “They’re inseparable,” Nicole Tuck told PEOPLE. “They don’t fight  they just love and protect each other.”

Like his dad, Aalam has an early love for music. Their mornings begin with family prayers and tunes from legends like Sade, Aretha Franklin, and classic reggae. Khaled even lets Asahd and Aalam experiment with turntables, calling it “the family vibe.”

For his third birthday in 2023, the family threw an extravagant circus-themed party, complete with rides, games, and even a lion  because, as Khaled put it, “The budget was big!”

Today, DJ Khaled balances his massive career with being a hands-on father. Whether producing chart-topping albums or helping with school projects, his message remains the same: family first.
