Darest of Juda Muzik Ties the Knot in Elegant Rebero Wedding
Ishimwe Prince, better known by his stage name Darest from the former duo Juda Muzik, has officially married his longtime partner Iradukunda A. Souvenir, who resides in the United States.
The couple celebrated their wedding on December 7, 2025, at Golden Garden in Rebero, where traditional ceremonies and a church blessing were held before guests joined them for the reception.
The event drew a number of notable figures from Rwanda’s music scene, including Knowless Butera and Ishimwe Clement, Uncle Austin, Nel Ngabo, Platini, Andy Bumuntu, Victor Rukotana, and many others who came to support the groom.
Darest’s church and traditional wedding followed their civil marriage, which took place earlier on November 27, 2025, at the Nyarugenge Sector offices.
The couple’s love story began at a friend’s event where they first met. After exchanging numbers and keeping in touch, the relationship gradually deepened into a committed partnership that led to marriage. Darest had proposed on January 10, 2025, marking the beginning of their journey toward the altar.
Fans will remember Darest from his days in Juda Muzik, the group he formed with Mbaraga Alex (now known as Malo Junior) before they went their separate ways in 2023. In April 2025, Darest released an album titled “Souvenir53,” which he revealed was inspired by and dedicated to his now-wife as they prepared for their future together.
