Gospel star Israel Mbonyi has stepped in to replace Chryso Ndasingwa and Sharon Gatete, who had earlier been confirmed as guest ministers at the upcoming Seek Conference Rwanda 2025, organized in partnership with True Promises Ministries.

The worship gathering described as a night of spiritual renewal and deeper intimacy with God is scheduled for December 14, 2025, at Bethesda Holy Church. The event is being organized by Prophet and Evangelist Vincent Mackay, who is based in the United States.

Although the organizers did not provide detailed reasons for the lineup change, sources indicate that Chryso and Sharon informed the team that they would be unavailable next week, prompting the adjustment.

Mbonyi’s addition follows a busy ministry schedule across the region. He had just completed a concert in Tanzania on December 6, is expected to perform in Uganda on December 12, and later on December 25 he will stage the fourth edition of his annual Kigali Christmas concert, “Icyambu.” The worship minister will also take Icyambu to Rubavu for the first time on January 1, 2026.

Seek Conference Rwanda is designed as a moment of transformation, revelation, and genuine pursuit of God. The gathering free of charge starts at 3:00 p.m. and is expected to attract worshipers, families, youth, and believers from all walks of life seeking a deeper encounter with the Holy Spirit.

Prophet Mackay, who will be the main preacher, says the date was divinely appointed for God’s people to receive healing, prophecy, renewed strength, and spiritual restoration. “This is a time to return to God, to receive answers, and to step into the new year with direction and instruction from Him,” he said.

The theme draws from the meaning of the word “Seek” to pursue God wholeheartedly echoing the biblical promise in Jeremiah 29:13, which says: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
