Top Rwandan Comedians to Unite for ‘Iwacu Comedy Festival’ Featuring Inyamibwa Troupe

Some of Rwanda’s most celebrated comedians are set to share one stage at the upcoming “Iwacu Comedy Festival 2025,” an event that promises laughter, music, and traditional dance. The festival will take place in early December and will feature a special performance by the renowned Inyamibwa Traditional Dance Troupe.


Organized by Lion Dreams, the festival will bring together popular comedians including Seth Seka, Rusine, Ambassadeur w’Abakonsomateri, Joshua Kamirindi, Babu Joe, and Rufendeke all well-known for their unique styles and strong fan bases.

Alongside comedy, attendees will enjoy captivating cultural performances from the Inyamibwa Troupe, which has gained national recognition for preserving and promoting Rwandan traditional dance and heritage.

Celebrating Unity Through Art and Laughter

This year’s edition of Iwacu Comedy Festival will be held under the theme “Bringing All Art Forms Together”, reflecting its mission to blend humor, music, and dance into a single night of entertainment and celebration.
