The artist, who had already begun promoting the show, said  that securing his preferred venue proved difficult, prompting him to shift the date. He added that several other artists also have events planned around the same period, and he wanted to give them space while supporting their work. “The concert was supposed to happen on December 13, 2025, but the venue I wanted was hosting many activities at the same time, so things were overlapping. I decided to move my show,” he explained.

Beyond venue challenges, Ish Kevin said he needed more time to properly prepare the concert, especially since he plans to invite performers from outside Rwanda.

He also emphasized that his decision was influenced by his desire to support fellow rappers with upcoming shows. “I’m not someone who refuses to support others. Another reason for the postponement is that I want to attend concerts organized by my fellow artists. You know there’s Icyumba cya Rap, Kivumbi’s show, and others I have to show up for,” he added.

Although he did not reveal the artists expected to join him for Trapish III, Ish Kevin hinted that full details including guest performers and event lineup will be announced soon as preparations progress.
