Gospel artist Theo Bosebabireba, widely known for his powerful worship and praise songs, electrified the crowd at the “Inzu y’Ibitabo Award” event held on Sunday, December 7, 2025. His performance reaffirmed how deeply his music has touched the hearts of many throughout his career as an independent artist.

The “Inzu y’Ibitabo Summit” has grown into a major platform that promotes authors and celebrates their contribution to the culture of reading and writing. It also serves as a valuable space where accomplished individuals share their journeys with the youth and inspire them to pursue their dreams.

Speakers at this year’s summit included Uwizeyimana Jilly Claude, Rev. Damien Rutegeranya, Dr. Nicodem Hakizimana, among others. The event centered around the theme “Trials Are Not Permanent”, a message inspired by one of Theo Bosebabireba’s most popular songs.

As the summit drew to a close, Theo joined participants in an uplifting musical session, delivering an outstanding gospel performance that added vibrant energy to the celebration. Many attendees noted that the artist had been away from the stage for some time, making this performance especially anticipated.

His strong vocal delivery and heartfelt interaction with the audience made the musical segment one of the highlights of the day.

Three awards were presented during the ceremony under the banner “Inzu y’Ibitabo Award 2025”, recognizing outstanding contributions in the field of literature and publishing. The winners were:

Dashim, the journalist who organizes the awards, stated that all 12 categories now have their respective winners. However, he revealed that next year’s edition will introduce changes in the awarding process.
