The long-awaited ruling in the case involving Kalisa John, known as Kjohn, and Ishimwe Patrick, widely referred to as Pazzo Man, has been delayed. The verdict, which had been scheduled for December 11, 2025, was not delivered because the court had not yet finalized the written judgment.

The presiding judge at the Kicukiro Primary Court announced that the decision would instead be read on December 17, 2025.

Kjohn and Pazzo appeared in court earlier on December 4, 2025, where both men firmly rejected the charges against them. They insisted that Uworizagwira Florien, commonly known as Yampano, should be the one held responsible, claiming he knowingly shared the intimate video through his email account, aware that other recipients had access to it.

Both defendants maintained that although they had seen the footage, they never distributed it nor forwarded it to anyone, contradicting what prosecutors alleged.

The two were arrested in November 2025 on accusations of circulating a video showing Yampano engaged in a sexual act charges they have consistently denied throughout the proceedings.
