Riderman Set to Celebrate 20 Years in Music With Major Concert in 2026
Rwandan rapper Gatsinzi Emery, popularly known as Riderman, has confirmed plans to hold a landmark concert in 2026 to celebrate 20 years in the music industry a milestone he describes as both emotional and inspiring. The rapper says the event will be an opportunity to appreciate the journey he has traveled, the partners who have stood by him, and the fans who have supported him from the beginning.
Riderman, who is among the artists lined up to perform at Papa Cyangwe’s concert on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Kigali Universe, made the announcement during an interview with InyaRwanda on Wednesday, November 19.
He revealed that 2026 will mark a new chapter in his artistic life a moment of reflection on his two-decade journey. “Over the years, I have held many concerts. Some may remember performing with me along the way, but next year marks a special moment: 20 years in music. I’m planning a major concert for that milestone, and more details will be released closer to the date,” he said.
His remarks were delivered with the confidence of an artist who knows the value of his craft and the significance of the path he has walked. For Riderman, the 20-year celebration is more than a simple anniversary it is the story of his life and the legacy he continues to build.
A Celebration That Will Unite Generations
Riderman said the upcoming concert will bring together artists from different eras—those he started with and those shaping today’s music scene. “The plan is already in motion. I won’t only be performing with artists from my generation such as P-Fla and Bull Dogg. We will also share the stage with younger talents who are now making their mark. We worked with the older ones in the past, and we are working with the new generation today. I hope everyone will be there to support us,” he noted.
The event is already being anticipated as a powerful moment to revisit Riderman’s musical history, connecting two generations of Rwandan hip-hop and showcasing how his style and brand have evolved over time.
Two Decades Later, the Rapper Still Has More to Give
From his breakthrough hits in the early 2010s to more recent creative ventures, Riderman is credited with shaping a distinct chapter in Rwandan hip-hop and inspiring many young artists who look up to him.
His 20-year concert regardless of how it will be structured is expected to reaffirm that his journey is far from over. It will highlight his commitment to producing music that blends message, artistry, maturity, and authenticity.
As he continues preparations for Papa Cyangwe’s upcoming show, Riderman remains active in the music scene, collaborating with today’s stars and strengthening artistic bonds across generations.
But all signs show that the 2026 celebration will be his most defining milestone yet. It is a project that reflects how deeply he values the years he has spent in music and his readiness to open a new, dignified chapter built on his legacy.
The rapper urged media outlets, partners, and fans to stand with him as he enters this major phase. “I hope you’ll all be there to support us,” he said in conclusion.
