Vestine, known for her powerful vocals and uplifting Christian music, caused a stir this week when she shared a deeply emotional message on her Instagram account, suggesting she may be going through a painful moment in her marriage.

In the now-deleted post, she wrote: “This life I am living today is not the one I chose. I am in a difficult season, a place I do not deserve. I know I made wrong decisions in my life, but it’s too late now. God allows certain things to happen so we can learn from them. I have cried enough. No man will ever lie to me again or destroy my life.”

She continued by implying that she would be more careful in choosing a life partner:“Next time I choose a husband, it will be someone I truly know  his family, his background, everything. No one will ever use me again.”

Although the message disappeared minutes after being posted, Murindahabi confirmed to IGIHE that the post indeed came from Vestine’s official account, although he declined to clarify whether it was she who personally wrote it. “Yes, what you saw was posted on her Instagram before being deleted for her safety. Beyond that, may God bless us,” he said.

Manager Declines to Comment on Her Private Life

While confirming the authenticity of the post, Murindahabi stressed that he could not comment on Vestine’s personal matters.“Those are questions for the artist herself. She has her private life, and we must respect that. At MIE Music, we work with the duo Dorcas & Vestine, but every artist still has their own personal life,” he emphasized.

He also declined to explain why the two singers did not return to Kigali on the same flight after traveling together to Canada for performances. “What law says people who know each other must be on the same flight? If one person returns earlier and another later, what is the problem? Vestine and Dorcas share music with their fans, not every detail of their daily movements,” he said.

“She Is Fine”  Murindahabi

Murindahabi, who arrived in Kigali on November 19 with Dorcas only, would not confirm whether Vestine had already returned to Rwanda. He simply assured that she is well and remains in communication with the team. “She is fine, we just spoke. They have survived many challenges in their five years in music, and I thank God for the difficult stories you journalists wrote about them  they helped strengthen them,” he said.

He added that he could not share her current location for security reasons.
“Seeing how everyone is looking for her, I prefer to keep her whereabouts confidential. As her manager, protecting her information is part of my responsibility.”

New Song Delayed

Murindahabi revealed that the rumors and noise surrounding Vestine are partly why the duo’s upcoming song has not yet been released.“God’s work must be done in peace,” he said.

As speculation continues, fans of Vestine & Dorcas hope for clarity  and for their beloved artist to find peace amid personal challenges she appears to be facing.
