The Africa Movie Academy Awards, established in 2005, are among the most respected honors in African cinema. They aim to recognize and promote filmmakers and actors contributing to the growth of the continent’s film industry. The 2025 edition will take place on November 9, 2025, in Nigeria.

The movie stars Analyssa Munyana (Mama Sava) as Espérance, the wife; Lucky Murekezi as Baptiste, the husband; and features Irunga Longin (Me Gasarabwe) and Grace Umuhire (Me Solange) as their respective lawyers, alongside several other talented actors.
