AG Promoter Proposes to Micky: Couple Announces Wedding Plans and Hints at Parenthood
Popular Rwandan digital influencer and content creator AG Promoter has officially proposed to his longtime partner Micky, in a romantic ceremony that left many of their fans and friends both surprised and emotional. The couple not only confirmed that their wedding is around the corner, but also dropped subtle hints that they might soon be expecting their first child.
The surprise proposal took place on November 9, 2025, at an intimate event held in Rebero, overlooking Kigali’s stunning skyline. Close friends and family were invited under the pretense of a birthday celebration, which later turned into a heartfelt engagement moment.
Speaking to local media after the event, Micky said she knew a proposal was being planned, but not when or how it would happen making the moment all the more emotional. “I was told we were going to a friend’s birthday party,” she revealed with a smile. “I had a feeling something was coming, but I didn’t expect it that day. It was a complete surprise, and I’m so happy.”
AG Promoter, on his part, described Micky as “the one” from the very first time they met. He recalled that she once offered to help him on a Rwf 500,000 project for free, which deeply moved him and convinced him she was the right partner for life. “From that day, I knew she was special,” he said. “I’ve never doubted that she was meant for me.”
When asked whether this engagement might be another one of their social media pranks as the couple is known for playful online content AG Promoter firmly dismissed the idea. “We joke about many things online,” he clarified, “but not this. This is real.”
Throughout the event, AG Promoter was seen affectionately touching Micky’s belly a gesture that fueled speculation that the couple might be expecting. Micky laughed off the questions but didn’t deny the possibility, saying: “People will know in time. Let’s just say, those who dislike us should get ready for more good news.”
Micky also shared that the couple had initially planned to have their civil wedding in August 2025, but postponed it due to delays in obtaining her national identification card.
The pair’s love story began in 2024, though they kept their relationship private for several months before finally going public. Over time, their bond has become one of the most talked-about relationships in Rwanda’s entertainment scene.
With the engagement now official, AG Promoter and Micky are preparing for their next big step a wedding celebration that promises to be both elegant and full of emotion.
