After years of silence and unresolved tension, Rwandan superstar The Ben and renowned producer Madebeats have finally reconciled in the United Kingdom.

The emotional reunion happened during The Ben’s concert in Manchester, where the two artists met face to face for the first time in years. Speaking after their meeting, Madebeats described it as a joyful and healing moment, saying it meant a lot to reconnect with someone he once called a brother.

Their fallout dated back to 2021, when misunderstandings arose during music deals involving Coach Gael. At the time, The Ben had invited Madebeats to Tanzania to work on a new project, but things turned sour after Coach Gael and Madebeats shifted focus to another artist, Bruce Melodie.

This move was perceived by The Ben as betrayal, especially since Bruce later collaborated with Harmonize, who had a tense relationship with Diamond Platnumz, The Ben’s close associate.
Over the years, the two artists maintained distance, although they reportedly exchanged apologies privately. Their recent reunion in the UK marks the first public sign that the past is behind them.
Interestingly, this comes shortly after The Ben also made peace with Coach Gael, showing a new spirit of unity and maturity in Rwanda’s music industry.
Music lovers have since praised both The Ben and Madebeats for choosing reconciliation over rivalry  a move that could open doors for future collaborations between two of Rwanda’s most talented music figures.
