Sharing the news on social media, Massamba Intore informed his followers about the memorial
plans and expressed his deep sorrow. In a heartfelt post, he wrote: "Here is the one who helped
God lift me. May God welcome her into His embrace. May her soul rest in peace, Father
Sentore, your place is now with Jusus."
Although she had been unwell for a while, Massamba revealed that there had been hope for her
recovery, as her condition was not considered critical. "She had spent some days in the hospital,
and we held hope she would get better. Yet, God called her home," he shared.
Massamba Intore also reflected on the values his mother instilled in him, highlighting her
encouragement to pass on Rwandan traditions and instill patriotism in the younger generation.
He vowed to continue the mission she cherished. Her passing comes 13 years after the death of
his father, Sentore Athanase, who passed away in 2012.In June 2024, Massamba described his mother as a pillar of support for his musical journey,
noting that she nurtured his talent from a young age. Throughout his career, he frequently
acknowledged her unwavering support and credited her as a central figure in his success.
