Inside Yamal’s £9.5m Mansion with Pool and Studio Fit for a Popstar
BARCELONA wonderkid Lamine Yamal is living every teenager’s dream a superstar career, sky-high wages, and now a £9.5million mansion once owned by football royalty Gerard Piqué and global pop icon Shakira.
The 18-year-old sensation has reportedly sealed the deal on the famous Esplugues de Llobregat estate, the same property that once hosted music studios, celebrity parties and FC Barcelona after-match dinners.
The estate spans a staggering 3,800 square metres, divided into three houses surrounded by manicured lawns, glass walkways and panoramic views of the Catalan hills.
The main villa boasts two swimming pools one indoors, one outdoors plus a private tennis court, spa room, and an ultra-modern gym.
And, of course, there’s the recording studio, where Shakira once laid down vocal tracks while Piqué trained nearby. Sources close to Yamal say the teenager plans to convert part of the studio into a gaming and music lounge.
The mansion’s interiors scream sophistication white marble floors, curved glass walls, and minimalist Spanish-Scandi décor. A sweeping staircase leads to five bedrooms, each with floor-to-ceiling windows and walk-in wardrobes bigger than most apartments.
Yamal is also said to be adding a home cinema, a VR training suite, and a trophy gallery for his growing collection of awards.
It’s a far cry from his humble beginnings. Just five years ago, Yamal was juggling schoolwork with youth training sessions at La Masia. Today, he’s not only Barcelona’s future he’s their present.
The teenager has already bagged three goals and five assists this season and is now earning a reported £325,000 per week.
When Piqué and Shakira split in 2022, the mansion was originally listed for £12m. With part of the complex sold off, Yamal scooped up the main residence for a cool £9.5m, a bargain by Barcelona luxury standards.
Despite the flash and fame, friends describe Yamal as humble. “He’s proud to be here but hasn’t changed,” one insider told The Sun. “He knows what this house represents success, but also hard work.”
At just 18, Lamine Yamal is proving he’s not just a generational talent he’s living proof that dreams, discipline, and a little Catalan magic can turn football stardom into real estate royalty.
