Although widely admired for her beauty and music career, many in Uganda’s showbiz industry had no idea she was a parent. However, she chose not to reveal any details about the child’s father or whether they are raising the child together.

In a 2022, DJ Alisha confirmed that she is Rwandan but has been pursuing her career in Uganda since relocating there with her family in 2019. It was in Kampala that she learned the art of DJing, eventually winning over crowds with both her mixing skills and her striking appearance.

Within just three years, her growing fame extended back to Rwanda, where she was invited to perform at various shows in Kigali.

Known for her bold fashion choices, DJ Alisha made headlines again recently when she publicly declared her Christian faith after being baptized, an experience that also prompted her to take a temporary break from music.

She explained that the pause was necessary for self-reflection and to realign her life’s direction.
