Hollywood star Angelina Jolie stole the spotlight at the Rome premiere of her new film Couture on Saturday night, where her breathtaking backless gown showcased her famous tattoos in all their glory.

The 50-year-old actress graced the red carpet at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, wearing a flowing, cape-style dress that elegantly revealed her intricate ink  including a large Bengal tiger and sacred Buddhist blessings symbolizing peace, love, and prosperity. Completing her look with sleek black heels and matching sheer stockings, Jolie once again reminded the world of her timeless allure and fearless style.

Couture, directed by Alice Winocour, casts Jolie as a filmmaker and mother navigating a turbulent divorce while preparing a Paris Fashion Week project  all as she faces a devastating breast cancer diagnosis. The role is a deeply personal one for the Oscar winner, who underwent a preventive double mastectomy in 2013 after testing positive for the BRCA1 gene. Jolie has spoken openly about the loss of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away from ovarian and breast cancer in 2007, as well as her aunt and grandmother, who battled the same illness.

Speaking recently to Variety, Jolie reflected on how the film mirrors her own experiences: “The hardest stories often create the most loving sets,” she said. “Working on this film was healing  almost everyone on set had faced illness or loss in some way. There was a shared sense of compassion and strength.”

At last month’s Toronto International Film Festival, Jolie also made fashion headlines while promoting Couture, stepping out in a daring brown double-breasted coat with a thigh-high slit  a look reminiscent of her viral 2012 Oscars appearance in a black Versace gown that became an instant pop-culture moment.

Jolie, a mother of six, continues to balance her acting career with humanitarian work and her growing fashion ventures. While Couture has not yet received an official release date, the buzz surrounding the film  and Jolie’s radiant presence on its promotional circuit  suggests it could become one of her most emotionally charged performances yet.
