The Ben and Bruce Melodie Sign Collaboration Deal Ahead of Major Concerts
Rwandan music heavyweights The Ben and Bruce Melodie have officially signed a collaboration agreement, marking the beginning of a new era of partnership between two of the country’s biggest stars.
The deal was sealed on the evening of November 10, 2025, at the residence of Coach Gael, who hosted both artists following a series of extended discussions that had been ongoing for several weeks.
Although specific details of the agreement remain confidential, reliable sources indicate that Bruce Melodie will perform at The Ben’s upcoming concert, “The New Year Groove,” scheduled for January 1, 2026, at BK Arena.
In turn, The Ben will join Bruce Melodie’s planned nationwide concert tour in 2026, according to the terms of their newly signed partnership.
Leaked details from an earlier draft of the agreement revealed that each artist would receive Rwf 10 million to prepare for any concert organized by the other a gesture symbolizing professionalism and mutual respect.
The collaboration comes at a time when The Ben is finalizing preparations for his annual “New Year Groove” concert, first launched in 2024, which has quickly become one of Rwanda’s most anticipated music events. Last year’s edition featured performances by top Rwandan artists and Kenya’s Otile Brown.
Meanwhile, Bruce Melodie is expected to unveil full details of his upcoming provincial tour, set to kick off in 2026. Industry insiders say the project will be one of his biggest undertakings yet, aimed at connecting more directly with his fanbase across the country.
This agreement between The Ben and Bruce Melodie marks a significant turning point in Rwanda’s entertainment scene especially following months of rumored rivalry between the two. Their collaboration is now being viewed as a powerful move toward unity and growth within the Rwandan music industry.
