Saka Reportedly Engaged to Long-Term Partner Tolami Benson After Luxurious London Proposal
Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka is reportedly engaged to his long-time girlfriend Tolami Benson, following a private and “special” proposal at an exclusive London hotel. The pair, both 24, are said to be preparing for the next chapter in their five-year relationship.
According to reports, Saka planned an elaborate evening and surprised Benson with an “enormous” engagement ring that left her “overwhelmed”.
Though the couple has largely kept their relationship away from the public eye, Benson has regularly been spotted supporting the winger at major tournaments including the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024, where the couple shared a memorable pitch-side kiss.
Benson, who studied Public Relations and Media at Birmingham University, now works as a senior planning executive in London. Friends say the pair have been inseparable since meeting as teenagers and have grown together throughout Saka’s rapid rise at Arsenal.
The engagement comes during a strong period professionally for the winger. Saka helped Arsenal secure a vital Champions League victory over Bayern Munich this week and continues to play a central role in the club’s Premier League title push.
Speaking recently about his ambitions, he reaffirmed his hunger for success: “All the trophies Arsenal and England. That is what I want to achieve in my career.”
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has repeatedly praised Saka’s development and insists the club is building around him for the long term. “His journey here and what he has become is something we want to maintain. He has a legacy to fulfil,” Arteta said.
With the Gunners preparing for a crucial clash against Chelsea this weekend, Saka’s off-pitch joy adds a positive layer to what has already been a standout season.
