Kirikou, Social Mula, and Fireman Set to Share the Stage in Kigali
Five talented artists, including Kirikou Akili and Double Jay from Burundi, along with Rwandan rapper Fireman, are scheduled to perform at the upcoming “Harmony Africa Plus Concert” on November 8, 2025, in Kigali.
This event marks the first time these artists will perform together on the same stage. Kirikou Akili last performed in Kigali during the “Let’s Celebrate” concert, sponsored by Be One Gin, held at Mundi Center on October 19, 2025. Meanwhile, Double Jay was last seen performing in Kigali at artist Yago’s concert at Camp Kigali in December 2023.
The concert aims to bring together established and emerging talents, promoting Rwandan music while providing youth with entertainment and learning opportunities. It also highlights the Harmony Africa Artist Development Camp, a week-long program dedicated to nurturing young artists and supporting their professional growth.
Performers will include notable Rwandan musicians such as Social Mula, Fireman, Naason
Solist, Kirikou Akili, and Double Jay, alongside carefully selected emerging artists from the development camp.
The program initially attracted over 200 participants, but 15 standout talents will receive specialized training in Kigali, while others continue learning online or through youth centers associated with the project.
Irakoze Jean Marie, founder and director of Harmony Africa Foundation, emphasized that the initiative goes beyond organizing concerts: “We want this concert to send a message. Music has the power to transform lives, building confident young people with direction and creativity,” he said
The Harmony Africa Plus Concert is expected to provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talents, learn from established musicians, and access opportunities to develop their skills professionally.
