Harry Kane reached 100 goals for Bayern Munich in just 104 games, becoming the fastest player in Europe’s top leagues this century to achieve the milestone.

The England captain hit the landmark on Friday night in a 4-0 Bundesliga win over Werder Bremen, scoring twice to cement his name in Bayern’s history books.

Kane’s 100 goals arrived faster than Erling Haaland, who needed 105 games at Manchester City, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who took the same number at Real Madrid. The 32-year-old is the 19th player to reach the century mark for Bayern.

Speaking after the game, Kane called it “an amazing achievement,” especially with a club of Bayern’s stature. He added that comparisons with Ronaldo and Haaland make the feat even more special but stressed his focus remains on helping the team win.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany brushed off speculation about Kane’s future, insisting there is no discussion about a Premier League return. “What he’s showing now is how he feels,” Kompany told Sky, praising Kane’s form.

Kane has been prolific at the start of the new season, netting 10 goals in five Bundesliga matches and 15 across all competitions. His double against Bremen included a first-half penalty—his 18th in 18 attempts for Bayern, a Bundesliga record streak.

The striker then brought up his century in the 65th minute, finishing from close range after a Luis Díaz pass. Although denied a hat trick after being substituted in the 78th minute, Kane left to a standing ovation from the Allianz Arena crowd.

Bayern’s emphatic win, sealed by goals from Jonathan Tah and Konrad Laimer, kept them perfect at the top of the Bundesliga with five victories from five. They now turn their attention to the Champions League, where they face Pafos of Cyprus on Tuesday.
