Captain Regis Set to Marry Queen as Wedding Preparations Near Completion
Rwandan comedian and film actor Captain Regis has confirmed that he is in the final stages of preparing for his much-anticipated wedding with his longtime partner Queen, marking a major milestone in their relationship after years of publicly celebrated love.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with local media, Regis revealed that this is the first time he has openly shared details about the timing of his wedding. He noted that all major arrangements have been completed and that the couple is now handling the last remaining touches before making the official announcement. “You’re actually the first person I’ve told the exact timing,” Regis said. “The wedding is happening early next year. Everything is already organized traditional ceremonies are done, and all that remains is to announce the date. We truly have nothing but gratitude to God.”
Queen, who has also been quietly working behind the scenes to finalize preparations, affirmed Regis’s statements. She stressed that their upcoming wedding is genuine and not a publicity move, insisting that they value the trust and respect of their supporters. “The wedding is real,” Queen explained. “We have no reason to mislead Rwandans. We respect the youth who follow our journey, and we also respect the elders who look up to us. So yes, the wedding is definitely happening.”
Their public confirmation comes shortly after the pair performed at the Gen Z Comedy Show on November 27, 2025. The evening was also notable for a separate moment involving Micky, Regis’s ex-girlfriend, who reportedly held a civil marriage ceremony on the same day with AG Promoter. Despite circulating social media reactions, Regis and Queen appeared unfazed, focusing instead on celebrating their own positive news.
As anticipation builds, fans across the country are eagerly waiting for the official wedding date, which the couple is expected to announce in the coming weeks.
