While Piero Hincapie returned to training after recovering from a groin injury, the potential loss of Zubimendi could be significant. The Spanish midfielder played 144 minutes for Spain during the international break and had stepped in for the injured Martin Odegaard in Arsenal's last Premier League outing. If unavailable, manager Mikel Arteta may turn to Christian Norgaard or reshuffle the midfield by pushing Declan Rice into a deeper role.

Arsenal’s injury woes are mounting, with Odegaard, Kai Havertz, and Noni Madueke among several players already sidelined. Although Bukayo Saka and William Saliba are expected to return, Arteta is likely to provide a clearer update in his pre-match press conference on Friday.
