Arsenal have been dealt a fresh injury setback ahead of their Premier League match against Fulham, with key players Martin Zubimendi and Ben White both missing from full training raising doubts over their availability for Saturday’s trip to Craven Cottage.

Arsenal’s preparations for their Premier League meeting with Fulham have taken a hit, with both Martin Zubimendi and Ben White absent from full training. White was not seen during Thursday's open session at London Colney, while Zubimendi was spotted watching from the sidelines alongside sporting director Andrea Berta, sparking concerns over his fitness ahead of Saturday’s fixture.

While Piero Hincapie returned to training after recovering from a groin injury, the potential loss of Zubimendi could be significant. The Spanish midfielder played 144 minutes for Spain during the international break and had stepped in for the injured Martin Odegaard in Arsenal's last Premier League outing. If unavailable, manager Mikel Arteta may turn to Christian Norgaard or reshuffle the midfield by pushing Declan Rice into a deeper role.

Arsenal’s injury woes are mounting, with Odegaard, Kai Havertz, and Noni Madueke among several players already sidelined. Although Bukayo Saka and William Saliba are expected to return, Arteta is likely to provide a clearer update in his pre-match press conference on Friday. The squad’s depth will be tested again as the Gunners aim to keep pace at the top of the table.

Zubimendi’s absence would be particularly untimely given his recent integration into the squad following a summer move. His potential injury, coupled with White’s unexplained absence, adds uncertainty to Arsenal’s defensive and midfield setup ahead of a crucial away trip to Craven Cottage.
