The Norwegian powerhouse has now scored 15 goals in just 11 games this season an astonishing return even by his own standards. His latest goal came after missing an early header, but he quickly made amends with a composed finish to give City the lead in their Champions League clash.

Haaland’s run includes nine straight games for City and three for Norway, surpassing Ronaldo’s 11-game scoring streak from the 2013–14 season. During that spell, the Portuguese icon bagged 15 goals for Real Madrid and Portugal, but even he couldn’t maintain the relentless consistency Haaland now displays.

For comparison, Lionel Messi’s longest combined streak across club and international matches ended at 10, though his 21-game La Liga scoring run remains unmatched domestically. Haaland’s blend of strength, precision and positioning, however, has him rewriting modern scoring benchmarks before his 26th birthday.

The record books may soon make room for another Haaland milestone. In the Premier League, Leicester City legend Jamie Vardy’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive matches still stands but Haaland’s current run of six straight league games suggests that mark is in serious jeopardy.

With upcoming fixtures against Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds and Fulham, few would bet against Haaland stretching his streak even further. For City fans, his numbers are breathtaking; for defenders across Europe, they’re terrifying.
