Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has received a huge injury boost as several first team players including Gabriel Jesus, Martin Ødegaard, and Viktor Gyökeres edge closer to full fitness ahead of a demanding run of fixtures.

The international break has arrived at the right moment for the Gunners, who are battling on multiple fronts with crucial Premier League, Champions League, and Carabao Cup games packed into December.

Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus has returned to full training after recovering from a long-term knee injury that has kept him out since January. Arsenal’s medical team is planning a behind-closed-doors friendly during the break to help the striker regain match sharpness before the North London derby against Tottenham on November 23.

“Gabby is doing everything to be ready,” Arteta said. “He’s trained really well, he’s sharp, and the group is happy to have him back.”

Elsewhere, captain Martin Ødegaard is making steady progress from a knee problem that sidelined him in recent weeks. The Norwegian playmaker could be available for selection by the end of the month, providing much-needed creativity as Arsenal prepare for eight matches in four weeks.

Viktor Gyökeres and Noni Madueke are also expected to return soon, with both attackers recovering from muscle issues. Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli, who missed recent games against Sunderland and Slavia Prague, are stepping up their rehabilitation and may rejoin the squad before December.

Arteta’s side currently sit among the Premier League’s top three but have struggled with attacking depth in recent fixtures, particularly during the 2–2 draw at Sunderland. The imminent return of key players could provide the lift needed to maintain momentum in the title race.

After the break, Arsenal face a hectic schedule including matches against Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester City, as well as a Carabao Cup quarter-final, in what promises to be a defining spell of their season.
