Kigali: Kirikou Set to Perform Alongside Davis D and Bushali in a Be One Gin Sponsored Concert
Burundian hitmaker Kirikou Akili, one of the region’s most popular artists, is set to return to Kigali for a special live concert dubbed “Let’s Celebrate.” The show will take place at Mundi Center on October 19, 2025, bringing fans a night of energy, fun, and world-class entertainment.
After performing across different countries over the past few months, Kirikou is returning to Rwanda to reconnect with his fans and deliver an unforgettable show.
According to Joshua Umukundwa, the event organizer, “Let’s Celebrate” is not just about entertainment it’s also a tribute to Rwanda’s growing achievements in sports, culture, and the creative industry. “The concert will feature top local artists like Davis D, Bushali, Yampano, Diez Dolla, and DJ Brianne on the decks,” Joshua revealed. “We want music lovers to enjoy a refreshing experience filled with joy and celebration.”
He added that “Let’s Celebrate” will serve as the first edition of a monthly event series designed to honor Rwanda’s cultural and entertainment milestones. “We’ve hosted major global events such as the UCI World Cycling Championships, and we’re preparing for the World Boxing Championships. This concert is another way to celebrate how far we’ve come together as a nation,” he explained.
The event is sponsored by Be One Gin, which recently launched a new premium bottle on the market. Joshua confirmed that the brand’s partnership played a major role in bringing Kirikou back to Kigali. “Be One Gin’s support made this event possible—they’re the reason Kirikou is performing here,” he noted.
Music enthusiasts can expect a dynamic lineup blending Rwandan and East African sounds, electrifying performances, and an atmosphere full of excitement.
